Pine Ridge Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned small animal practice that has served the beautiful Cobourg area for over 50 years. The clinic is open weekdays 8am-6pm. We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing with the OAVT for maternity leave/holiday coverage to start as soon as possible(potential to transition to a permanent position for the right fit).
Must be: – proficient at restraint, blood draws, dental scaling, inducing / monitoring anaesthesia/ perform tech appointments
– Comfortable with cytology, familiar with IDEXX lab suite or willing to learn
– Capable of assisting clients / answering phones/ front desk coverage
– Computer savvy, familiar with Avimark (or willing to learn).
