Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

We are searching for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician with 3+ years of general practice experience who is ready to jump in, join our exceptional team, and help us provide outstanding care to our patients. This position we are looking to fill is a current vacancy.
We are a privately owned small animal practice located in the heart of Woodstock . For several decades, we have proudly served our community, building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets. As we continue to grow and expand our services, we’re looking for one more amazing RVT to complete our team.
In addition to caring for dogs and cats, our team enjoys working with a variety of pocket pets. Experience with these patients is considered an asset and would be welcomed as we continue to expand our services.
At our clinic, RVTs play an integral role in every aspect of patient care. We value the knowledge, skills, and expertise that RVTs bring to veterinary medicine and actively support an expanded RVT role.
Our RVTs are empowered to:
Conduct RVT appointments, including weight management consultations, diabetic education and demonstrations, supportive care treatments, and more
Manage dedicated surgical shifts, providing comprehensive patient care from pre-operative preparation through recovery while working closely with our veterinarians and veterinary assistants
Partner with our doctors during appointments, assisting with procedures, sample collection, diagnostics, pharmacy responsibilities, and client communication
We believe in mobilizing RVTs to their full potential and creating opportunities for professional growth and development.

We are a full-service small animal hospital equipped to provide a high standard of medical and surgical care.
Our facility includes:
Separate feline exam rooms and a dedicated feline treatment area
Ultrasound capabilities
Digital radiography in a dedicated dental suite
Comprehensive in-house laboratory equipment
Our team is committed to continually expanding and enhancing the services we provide while maintaining a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.
Schedule
Four 9–10 hour shifts per week
One in three Saturday rotation
